NOTE: the links to Amazon below still go to the product on Amazon, but I am no longer part of the Affiliate Program.  I am focusing my efforts elsewhere.

Karen Kay Buckley Perfect Curved Scissors, 3-3/4-Inch

Why I like them: When I am quilting, I put a round SewTites Magnetic Sewing Pin (link below) on my shirt, up on my chest, and the magnet is strong enough to hold these little scissors.  So I have them handy whenever I need to snip a thread!

SewTites Magnetic Sewing Pins

Why I like them: When I am quilting, I put a round SewTites Magnetic Sewing Pin on my shirt, up on my chest, and the magnet is strong enough to hold the Karen Kay Buckley Perfect Curved Scissors shown above.  So I have them handy whenever I need to snip a thread!

LED Neck Reading Light

Why I like it: When I am doing handwork, I usually need some extra light on my hands.  This neck light is so awesome!  It is very lightweight, has different brightness levels to choose from, and I can shine it directly where I need it.

3 Tier Rolling Storage Cart

Why I Like It: This particular 3 Tier Cart also has a pegboard, hanging hooks, and baskets. I use the top level for the tools I use most often, and the bottom two levels for thread. The hooks are just right for hanging the rulers I use for longarming.

Pet Hair and Lint Brush

Why I like it: When sewing and quilting there is always an abundance of thread and lint.  I used to use the sticky roller type, but it felt so wasteful.  Then I found this handy tool- when I am longarming, I swipe it over the quilt top each time I advance to clean up those pesky thread bits.  It works best on smooth fabrics- it doesn't work so well on nappy fabrics, like flannel and wool.

Magnetic Wrist Pin Cushion

Why I like it: I like to pin when loading quilts to my longarm.  I found this handy little gizmo in Jamie Wallen's online store, and love it!!!  It is so convenient to have the pins on my wrist as I move about.  (I don't earn any affiliate credit from this link, I am sharing because I like the product so much).
